AIR TIMES: FRIDAYS 9:30AM - 11:30AM (live in studio)
Seasoned radio jock, Frank Lario, is dipping his toes back into the radio scene, after retiring from commercial radio several years back. Frank volunteers his time and passion for free-form radio hosting Shore Progressive at WCFA. He worked at a variety of radio stations over the years, but he got his start working among legendary radio personalities in Philadelphia at WMMR. As a volunteer host on WCFA, he fit right in without skipping a beat. He is passionate about free-form radio, has great taste in music and values the Cape May County community. Station Manager, Annie Walsh, commented, “We are super psyched to have Frank on our programming line up. He’s passionate and puts together a thoughtful program, with the bonus that he brings a wealth of experience with him that we can draw from here at WCFA. This is a win-win!”
Shore Progressive follows the A.O.R (Album Oriented Rock) format of the original great rock and roll radio stations. Frank Lario hand picks two hours of listening, covering the wide spectrum that is rock and roll—from new, to what might be new to you--Shore Progressive: free form and fun again.
